watermelon explodes because: 1 it is essentially an arc. Weaker from inside the concave shape 2 bullet first cracked the shell entering and weakened the arc 3 wedge shape of the bullet displaced the mass (mostly liquid) of the watermellon. Liquids do not compress, therefore they had no place to go but outward. For a real effect.. think of a mushroom round (bullet with a small hole in the tip) The heavy back goes litterally through the hole on impact, expanding the soft lead even more than a norm

A little faster than I would have liked, but still very cool! That shot of the bullet going through the bottle of water is awesome!
